Integrated system for steady-state, dynamic,
reaction, and batch distillation simulation, including heat exchanger design and rating
module.
Completely new superior graphic interface, making
extensive use of Windows mechanisms
Reporting to standard Windows wordprocessors. Users can
define their favorite wordprocessor
New Process Flow Diagram concept. The flowsheet can be
made a Main PFD, or individual PFDs can be created
Intelligent dialog boxes display only field relevant to
selected options. Irrelevant fields become inactive
Completely new CC-ReACS 5, Dynamics and Reaction
Simulator, involving modified solving algorithms
CC-DCOLUMN
Optimizer available in addition to Sensitivity Study
Tool. The Optimizer can modify up to 10 parameters to find Objective Function that meets
minimum or maximum criterion
Calculation speed at least 3 times improved over
version 4
Missing or critical physical and interaction data can
be ordered from TRDC
Over 30 thermodynamic methods to select from
Crude oil properties, Amines, Sour Water,
Highly non-ideal chemicals
Electrolytes
Solids
Customizable Cost Engineering feature
Models and external programs written by the user can be
executed
Standalone and add-on versions
CC-THERM, CC-ReACS, CC-DCOLUMN, and
CC-BATCH
can be licensed as
modules completely integrated with CHEMCAD
(add-on license), or the license can be granted
for a standalone module. CC-THERM, CC-ReACS, CC-DCOLUMN
and CC-BATCH, licensed as standalone
modules, use the same Windows graphics interface, component property and thermodynamics
databanks and methods as CHEMCAD does. With every standalone module you can draw
flowsheets, enter the data and produce graphics and text reports. With standalone license
you are limited, however, to the calculation methods specific to the licensed module.
Licensing modules as add-ons allows you to seamlessly exchange information between all
modules of CHEMCAD family of programs.
